Because of our continued
growth, we are looking to hire a Manager of Strategy and Analytics. In this
highly visible role, you will be responsible for overseeing project and client
management for a variety of primary and secondary market research projects. You
will leverage your skills and past experience to analyze and interpret qualitative
and quantitative data.
This position is extremely
strategic, both internally and externally. You will represent The Zitter Group
to our clients, holding responsibility for the overall success of your market
research projects. You will actively engage clients with your invaluable
insights and be able to produce exceptional presentations. Internally, you’ll
do what it takes to ensure that all of your projects are completed successfully
– you’ll manage a number of concurrent engagements at any given time, not only
managing timelines and creating deliverables, but providing direction and
support to your team. We will look to you as an internal expert to consult on
proposal development as well as coaching and mentoring junior staff.
Essential Job Functions
- Project
management, including management of project timelines, deliverables, and
related functions
- Account
management with active clients as part of the project implementation
process
- Proposal
development and active participation in the sales process, including
onsite sales calls as appropriate
- Oversight
of a portfolio of concurrent research and analytic engagements
- Creation
of reports for client deliverables and participation in delivery of final
reports
- Recommending
specific analytic techniques and methods that produce the information
necessary to make an informed business decision, within the scope of a
client’s timeline and budget
- Collaborating
and mentoring analysts and other staff, in multiple locations
- Learning
constantly about the biotechnology, life sciences, and managed care
industries – and American healthcare in general
Requirements
- MBA, MPA, MS or other advanced
degree, from a top institution, preferably in engineering, economics,
business administration, or the life sciences, including a strong record
of academic achievement
- Two to four plus years of project
and account management experience in life sciences consulting, or the
biotech, pharmaceuticals, or managed care industry; strong knowledge of
biopharma and/or managed care issues
- Advanced strategic and analytic
skills, market research experience (qualitative and quantitative), and
demonstrated success using these capabilities to provide strategic
insights
- Excellent client management and
interaction skills, including effective task and engagement management;
previous client management experience strongly preferred
- Exemplary writing skills and a
strong interest in effective communication
- Strong presentation skills and
ability to effectively present complex ideas and content to diverse
audiences
- Advanced proficiency with MS
Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access); including
familiarity with data analytics and statistics packages – SPSS, SAS, etc.
- High intellectual curiosity and
creativity, and a commitment to continuous learning about the
biotechnology, life sciences, and managed care industries, and American
healthcare in general

successful communication of complicated issues represents a critical success
factor; therefore the candidate should have excellent written and oral
communications skills. Candidates will need to manage and prioritize multiple
projects in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is important, as is the
ability to meet budgets and deadlines.

products and strategy engagements, and the growth and development of the company’s
portfolio of methods and techniques. Given the importance of close
collaboration with other colleagues and with clients, the candidate’s fit with
